Privacy Policy

No Data Collection

GimmeSplat does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information or usage data. Specifically:

• No analytics: We don't track how you use the app, which features you use, or how often you open it.
• No crash reports: We don't automatically collect crash data or diagnostic information.
• No identifiers: We don't collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or any information that could identify you.
• No behavioral data: We don't track your interactions, gestures, or navigation patterns.

No Cloud Sync

All your data is stored locally on your Apple Vision Pro:

• Your Gaussian Splat files
• Your galleries and organization
• Your AI metadata (from ml-sharp)
• Your app settings and preferences
• Your Sequencer recordings

We have no cloud infrastructure. Your data never leaves your device through GimmeSplat.

No Account Required

GimmeSplat requires no sign-up, login, or account creation. You can use all features of the app without providing any personal information.

File Access

GimmeSplat may request access to:

• Files: To import .ply and .splat files from your device storage
• Photos: Only if you choose to import thumbnail images from your photo library

This access is only used when you explicitly choose to import files. We never automatically access, scan, or upload your files.

Third-Party Services

GimmeSplat does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs that collect data. The app operates entirely offline and independently.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Delete individual splats using the Remove option in the app
• Delete galleries using the Manage Galleries feature
• Uninstall the app to remove all GimmeSplat data from your device

Children's Privacy

GimmeSplat does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, there is no risk of children's data being collected.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this page with the new policy and update the "Last updated" date. Since we currently collect no data, any change would likely only occur if we added optional features that require data processing, which would always be opt-in and clearly explained.
